About Rangeland
Our name draws from the fact that over 80% of Australia is classified as rangeland — vast, open and largely unconstrained.
It’s a metaphor for how we approach funding solutions for our customers.
We don’t start with products — we start with understanding your situation, strategy and goals to find the most suitable funding for each situation. From there, we structure each offering to suit the specific outcome required, rather than placing our clients into predefined boxes.

About our Founder
Our Founder and Managing Director Nick Howell has been in and around financial services, energy and project management since 2010. Originally starting as a financier, Nick quickly developed a knack for working with brokers and referral partners to have their clients funding requirements met seamlessly. Nick also spent time developing relationships with key vendors to build funding programs for energy, technology and other commercial assets.
Fast forward a few years and Nick found himself in renewable energy, financing and project managing the design, development and construction of solar and battery farms across Australia where he built a wealth of technical skills. He has vast experience in understanding and delivering complex projects in regulated verticals.
Bringing all of this experience together led to the founding of Rangeland. We provide financing and capital products to consumers and businesses, as well as consult on a wide range of funding and energy projects
